Hey guys
On an 02 s2000.
As mentioned I pulled those 4 codes just now. Im in ohIo and it's cold as hell so im careful about letting the S just sit. I go out and start it at least once (usually twice) a day and let it run for about ten to fifteen minutes. It always idles well and doesn't hesitate except for this time after I got the codes I shut it off and started it again and it will start to idle fine then it drops to about 600 rpms briefly then goes back to normal. After about 20 seconds or so it smooths out and quits dropping.
Like I said its really cold out now so could that be the issue or is something more important happening?
Oil level and quality still looks good, engine temps are good, revs up smoothly, no noticeable misfire anymore.
The codes didn't appear right away when I started it, when I came back out to shut the car off after it was warm, I noticed the light and pulled the codes.
Thanks!

Figured it out.
If anyone has this problem make sure to take this into consideration.
On cold startup i.e about 10 degrees or lower, the flow of coolant to the throttle body housing is not sufficient enough to warm the throttle plate. Therefore it will have a multiple misfire due to the rush of cold air and sometimes even frost buildup on the throttle plate along with the amount of fuel you will get at factory idle.
Basically, its just idling too low when its this cold out.
So to fix the problem, on these really cold days, just adjust the throttle cable to have a slightly higher idle and it will get rid of the misfire. Of course, you should adjust it back to where it's supposed to be when you go out and drive it.
