DROPPED SOMETHING INTO MY TRANNY!

ok, how about draining all the fluid, somehow tilt the car towards the drain fill plug side, and then use a coat hanger on the lower hole to fish for it? I guess you could jack up the left side of the car and put the wheels on cinder blocks, then jack up the right side higher.. that way you still have clearance to get under there....

little different, and off topic, but i dropped a small screwdriver into my engine bay about half a year ago and it was never seen again, i was parked in a driveway and it didnt fall thru, i ran over speed bumps in a sub division to try to knock it out and everything, looked around for it for an hour. Never found it

We have known since early 2002 that the S2000 transmission has an oil pump, when cmnsnse tore his apart to modify the oil pick up and concluded that Honda should have made it a bit longer. It was he, who advised a slight overfill of fluid if you didn't want to do the pick up tube mod.

If that little plastic thing got chewed up and got sucked into the pump, kiss your tranny bye-bye.
