I would like to drop only an inch ( front and rear )and have a ride just a bit firmer.
Since i don't have much money to spend on coilover kit for now, i would like to change only the springs but i heard it could shorten the shocks life. Is it true ?
What do you guys suggest ?
Thanks

Running shocks at a reduced height does reduce their lifespan, and also the car wont handle as well as if you have proper lowered sports shocks, but lowering springs alone will certainly stiffen things up a little and obviously lower the car, and as long as you existing shocks are in good condition, they should still last you ages.

Hum...... i see !! Since i don't like to loose some handling, i think i will wait and go for a good coilover kit next summer.
Is there something that is not too stiff and give a drop of about an inch ?
Thanks again !

I don't know much about this, the only thing i should say is that i would like to have a ride just a bit firmer and a little more reactive.
The OEM is firm but a little bit slow in rebound.
