driving with CEL (p2138) on
Hi, I've had a intermittent p2138 CEL on which was attributed to a bad TPS. I've ordered the relevant part from my Honda parts supplier and its going to take 6 wks to come in.
In the meantime, I'm wondering if it safe to drive the car gently. Considering how the fuel consumption seems to be normal and what I do get is basically some hunting of revs, lack of throttle response and a bit of jerky driving.
I'm just concerned if any of these may result in damage to the engine when driving or excessive build up on carbon. I don't drive so much daily, I do maybe 200 miles per week max.
