Actually the magic number is 7.5mm because you wont have to take it off when you put your car back to stock ride height

Someone with a AP1/Ap2 Spare, get out the ruler and measure.

I did when I put it in. The output shafts ae different.

The OP was actually talking about the axles or halfshafts...take a look at the links.

The driveshaft or propeller shaft is different from ap1 & ap2.

The half shafts are the same for ap1 & ap2.
