just recently i was underneath my S and i noticed that the driveshaft
appears to be slinging grease on the underside of my S.
it is just happening on the transmission side of my driveshaft.
curious if this is normal;if not has anyone else had this problem

Could be the rear seal on the tranny is leaking. However, you did say "grease". The tranny fluid is more like motor oil. The ends of the propshaft have a kind of CV joint. There is grease inside and it could be this joint that is leaking. Unless you can tell us exactly the kind of consistency of what's leaking, it'll be hard to say which is leaking.

this isn't tranny fluid; it is to thick.it appears to be grease and i believe
it is coming from a joint because there is ring of grease on the under
carriage.this makes me believe that it happens during the rotation of the
driveshaft.maybe at high revs ,NOT SURE. does that help; kind of hard to explain

I had the same problem. one of the CV joints in the propshaft has failed. Make sure the 6mm hex nuts on the flange are tight, they can loosen easily if weren't installed very tight. Only fix is to replace the propshaft because honda doesn't sell new CV joints and the propshaft is $800 from honda.

also i was curious;what could have caused this.just so you know, there have
been times that i have put my s to the test.i broke an axle at the drag strip
after a clutch dump at about 7k.i had a clutch masters stage three at the time.
i did manage to record a time of 14.1 with just a clutch upgrade before this happened.i guess thats not to bad for my 02S.could the stress from that have caused it to damage the propshaft.
