driver window while opening softop
WHen i first got my car, when I would put down the soft top, both the driver and passenger windows would roll down as the top was coming down...
now for some reason, the driver window doesnt move when im dropping the top, and just stays up... I have to put down the driver side window after the top is down..
any ideas whats going on???

There is a TSB on this. The driverside window regulator fails and needs to be replaced. I had it replaced three times. They have updated this part atleast three times that I know about. if you are under warrenty, they will replace it at no cost. If you are not, it is the service manager's call to replace it for good will, or not. Take it to the dealer and see what they have to say about it.

Damn it Xviper, looks like you'd saved the day again bud. Thought I was the only one with that problem, gotta go out and try that reset thing on the S. Kinna funny cuz the sales person that I'd bought my S from, which was in the show room floor told me that it's a safety device that Honda had installed in the driver's window so it won't completely go down when the top is lowered. Not only that but the same sales person said "It only took me like 10 seconds to drive 1 mile in that car", 1 mile in 10 seconds? Haha... Go figure...

ps. That reset procedure may only work for a short time. Ultimately, most people will need a new window regulator. An alternative, if you have no warranty left, is to install an "Autoloc" device (about 40 bucks) on the driver's side window. This will fix the problem permanently and will also give you auto UP as well. I did this on mine and I love the dual "auto" feature. It can also be done to the passenger side window with another unit.

and don't go up at all when putting it back up.
*This usually happens when the window "lock" button has been accidentally pushed.
