They said the part numbres were the same, but I have not had another problem with it since. Who knows how truthful Honda is when they say anything. All I know is now is works. If it breaks again, they will replace it again. I suggest just take it in and have them replace the assembly.

I just had mine fixed last week. So far, so good.

Looks like they have the improved parts in the pipeline now.

Ray,

yeah, I had Doug do the Mugen thermostat, differential fluid change, oil change, fix the driver's window, and fix the trunk lid bump stops. He broke one of the bumpers, so I'm going back in on Thursday for that and a tube of Shin Etsu grease.

Now the heater puts out ice cold air for a minute or two after three bars show on the temperature gauge. I'm seriously thinking about getting some Butt Heat installed, if I can get in touch with Annie to find out about her installer.

I've been following your supercharger adventures here... Sounds like the magic electronic fix might be the ticket!

It has been discussed several times. One thread in Car Talk is: http://www.s2000online.com/forums/showthre...p?threadid=2853

My post from that thread:

As has been stated, the problem is the motor/sensor, not the switch. Took my dealer 2 guesses to get it right. What I discovered is that if you run the window up and down a few times (as you might if you were trying to show someone the problem) the auto function will start to work OK. Then, after just siting for a while (not sure how long), it reverts back to not working. Of course, having an auto function that only works after you have run the window up and down several times manually isn't too useful. So the moral of the story is that, on the morning that you take it to the dealer, don't operate the window until you you are ready to show him the problem.

Are you pushing the button down far enough? If you press it down gently until it stops and then release it, the window stops. If you press it until that point again and then a little harder you will feel hit the next stop. The window will continue to go down even if you release it.
