Driver side window shakes...

Driver side window shakes...

Just noticed this... While the driver side window is going down(towards the end of the stroke), it starts to shake/vibrate. If I keep my hand on the window, it goes down smooth. I'm guessing something is loose with the window mechanism. Anyone ever have this problem?

Yes I have the same issue. MY00 100% stock with 57,000 miles. A little pressure from my hand and its smooth but alone it sounds like:
"vvrrrrrrrrrrrrrrugugugug!!"

you could try lubricating the track that the mechanism slides down with some white litium grease.

This should be the first thing to try. However if you can pull out the rubber run channel and blow it out with compressed air then lube the channel with shinetsu grease (let it absorb for 5 mins then clean off excess but leave a slight flim to keep the channel lubed). If that doesnt help then I'd take off the door panel and see if something is loose in the window regulator.
