Default driver side turn signal oddity

so i noticed a little while ago that when i hit the unlock on my keyfob and the turn signals are supposed to flash, my driver side one doesn't. i thought my turn signal had gone out but checked it and it was fine.

just wondering if anyone knows why this may be?

The running lights flash, not the turn indicators. Your drivers side running light is most likely burned out.

Yep, had this exact same thing happen with several bulbs in my 2000 Insight after having some paint work done. The static from the paint spray burnt out several small bulbs and I didn't notice until I locked the car and one side blinked and the other didn't.

Its a little bit of a pain, you have to take the tire off, pull down the fender liner, then you can reach the bulb. I think the bulb is a 168.

No need to take the wheel off, just turn it to full lock so you have room to stick your hand in. Just peel out the inner fender liner as mentioned above. (Well unless you have big arms and/or larger aftermarket wheels).

Use a LED replacement if you can. Plug in and forget

I was just stating to take the wheel off as it gives you more room to work with.
