Was the defect covered under warranty if applicable? I am more fearful of defective Honda service departments than defective Honda parts. BTW, are you referring to the inner CV being pitted along the spline like surface of the cup which the spider gears mate?

Sorry, but it was quite a long time ago that I cannot remember the exact details of how it all ended. I tried to search but came up with 70 pages of returns.

I replaced the inner 1/2 shafts I think it ended up 300+USD for both left and right inner half shafts. It made a world of a difference.
