Default drive cycle

I left my 00 sitting for over a year. Fired her up about a month back and been driving it everywhere. The issue I am having is when I take it in for emission test I am always told the system is not ready for testing. I logged about 1500 miles on it already with NO check engine light. No the bulb is not burnt out. The light comes on when I first put the key in along with all the other lights. I have done both highway and city driving. Even made several stops on purpose. Just not sure what to check for.

Check for blown 7.5amp "back-up" fuse under dash.

If it's blown, monitor data is erased each key cycle.

Pass! Billaman250 if I am ever in your city or if you are in Phoenix give me a ring. I owe you dinner and a round of beers.

RogerHinga,
Nice gesture. So many S2K owners would love to repay Billman for all of his knowledgeable/helpful posts over the years that he could probably travel the U.S. and never have to pay for lodging, meals or drinks. He has created so much good will throughout the S2K community.

My car is a 00 with 56k miles. For the last 8 years its been sitting in the garage. Only comes out for 30 days out of the year. I never really took the time or tried to figure it out until now. She is finally registered for the streets again after 8 years.
