I can get mine to drift but nothing really constant. I always do it when I exit out of the freeway and I come in to hot. Get my rear end to give out and I countersteer to bring it back. In an open parking lot I can't really get it to drift constant rate. It break loose but not to long though.

You are braver than most Xviper. I tried to take one for a test drive here in Minneapolis that the dealer had just put crappy tires on and they had a few inches of snow and ice on the lot. The car could get no traction in first or second at IDLE and the car would basically just rotate around the front tires. It took several minutes to get the car out of the parking lot. After I bought it, drove it home on a dry day in December, and there it sits until sometime in April.

thats not really a drift. thats more of a fish tail or power slide if you will. a true DRIFT in what you were asking about is a controll of going through a turn from before the turn in through the apex and out the exit. meaning breaking the rear tires loose before the turn aiming the car where you want it to end up, going through the entire turn and coming out the other end still sliding. there are many ways of doing this E brake, shift lock, lift off, feint , braking and power over.

the S can drift. its not impossible at all. it all depends on the set up of t he car. the main reason you don't see them drifitng is because is so stiff, and most people stiffen them even more which makes the car much harder to get into a controlled slide. the car just wants to grip and drive, or spin out. but it not impossible at all. i do drift the car. and i know there are others who have too.
