Default Dremel tool to remove the axle nuts?

ARRRUGH!!!! I'm so sick of these damn axle nuts! I don't know why Honda didn't use a cotter pin instead of staking them down. I still can't get the right side nut off. I cut off the small part (the part that gets staked) all the way around with a reciprocating saw and the nut still won't budge. My next idea is to take a Dremel tool and cut directly through the nut on the top and the bottom then split them apart w/ a chisel. I don't have a Dremel so I'm about to go out and buy one. Does anyone here know what kind of blade I should put on the Dremel to cut that nut?

I can chase the threads w/ a die. I tried 2 impact wrenches, breaker bar, torque wrench. I'm at my wit's end now.

Impact wrench. I used an electric one and they came off. Yours must be welded on!

I also didnt mess with the indention that holds it in. It just took it off.

Maybe try hitting it with a blowtorch for a minute, it did the trick on my Jetta when I needed to remove the axle nuts. Just be careful of where your aiming the flame as to not get too close to the wheel bearing.

+1

we torched just about anything that wouldnt budge when i was in the Marines. focus the heat on the nut, it should expand some then be able to break free. try using wd40 on it and keep it wet for about 30 mins, dont use the torch while wd40 is still on it though.
