Pity not all pegged from new,could put shims in there also to bring back to oem spec.

Stopped by the electronics store and picked up a 1N4002 diode so I can splice a wire with the diode cathode to the green parking brake output and connect the other side to a splice of the Light Blue wire out of the clutch interlock switch.
The car will now start if the parking brake pulled with no foot on the pedals, but will also start normally if you push the clutch only instead.

...and its entirely possible the handrake isn't engaged enough to stop the car if it starts in gear. I am going to do the brake pedal, banking on the fact that if someone stars the car with foot only lightly on brake, and car starts to move, instinct will be to just press harder...

We don't have the clutch switch on UK cars,we just don't start it in gear.

Whatever happened in the end? I had the same thing happen to my s2000 about the same time, my block looks the exact same as yours. Mine was a 2001 and completely stock. Where you able to salvage the block?

Crank machine
my crank is a f22 and have the same problem just curious if the machine shop was able to successfully fix it TIA
