Default The dreaded Thrust washer

Hi I am new to the forum and just looking for some advice.

I have just bought a uk s2000 on a 2005 year with crank walk.
The car still starts and idles fine. not that i do this !
I have done the test on the bottom pulley and its clear both thrust washer must of came out.

Now before i start stripping the engine out has anyone ever repaired the bottom end and got the original engine running again ?

Wow! Was this out of a stock engine? Stock clutch?

Thanks! And good luck with the rebuild.

I can tell you now, the crank is probably fked. My local machine shop fixed a F22c crank that had this same failure because F22 cranks are rare as unicorns these days. They had to weld it and then machine it back down...good luck
