Default Doesn't Let Me Enter Radio Code

Hey everyone,

I'm extremely excited as I just took the S2000 out of storage. I put the battery in, connected positive (red) first and then negative. Car runs great!

However, my radio isn't working. Nor is it telling me to enter the code... is there something else I have to do?

Thanks!

No. I pushed all the buttons (not the numbers) to try to get something to display. Nothing displays at all. However, when I turn all my headlights on, the lighting on the deck turns on but nothing else! :S

Check the fuse that also runs your accessory 12V outlet (the "lighter" outlet)

I found out where the fusebox near where all my pedals are! I pulled the 7.5amp Backup fuse and also the radio fuse...

My radio display still shows nothing. Anyone know what I should do?

Above the hood latch you'll see the fuse panel. Repace #19 with a 15amp fuse then re-enter the radio code. The 5 digit code should be present on the inside of the glove box door.

#19 as in the radio fuse? I just replaced it with another 15amp fuse and there is still no display on the radio. Keep in mind, the ignition on my car is off the whole time. I don't need the engine ignited to have the radio working, right? I've turned the key to the "ON".

If your radio was ever removed for some reason, it may be that the wiring that connects the radio has come loose. I think it is a pretty rare instance that the radio would go bad.

The radio was never removed or touched. I stored the car for the winter season and just took it back out yesterday and to my surprise the radio doesn't display anything. It doesn't even let me enter in my code!

I definitely agree with radio not working being a very rare instance. Never really hear of problems like that lol. I hope I can figure this out!
