Default Does the Spoon X-Brace make changing

I have heard that it is kind of in the way of the oil drain plug. Is there anyone who has this brace mounted that can shed some light on this situation?

The X is directly under the drain. You'll make a mess as the oil is draining on top of the brace.

get a fumoto valve, whether or not you get an x-brace. it's easily one of the BEST mods I've done to my S.

It dosn't make changing the oil any harder...and nto really messier either. The only problem I have is that the oil can not be cleaned up 100% and will still drip a little.

How are we supposed to know what will work with your custom hardware?

I have the spoon x-brace and it's not hard to change the oil. Just use an extension for your socket wrench. The oil does get on the brace, but it's easy to clean up.
