Does this sound normal...?
Well I think my car knows im selling her. She is starting to act up a bit. But I was on my way home tonight and I think my resonated test pipe is starting to fall apart. What do you think. It almost sounds like a loud valve as well on the exhaust side, but there is little noise under the hood, just under the car... what do you think?
(PS you cannot see anything, just listen)

Sounds normal to me, nothing a good valve adjustment can't take care off but your engine's not going to blow. The weather is getting cold so my valves are getting pretty noisy when the car warms up. I may go and get them adjusted soon.
Selling the car already? didn't you just get your car like 6 months ago, lol.

No need to defend yourself but if you think about it....how long will it take you to save just the price differential of an ap1 to a '08 prius?

08 prius out the door with 6 yr warranty 60,000 miles for $21K.
I have a buyer for my car at $16K so thats only an extra $5k out of pocket...not bad at all if you ask me.
and the 60MPG's sounds good as well...LOL
like I said I WILL get another S, may just be a year or two from now

Wow, thats a good price on your end, I've seen ap2s go for $16k.
and 60mpg?
http://www.fueleconomy.gov/Feg/findacar.htm
So at $5000 over the cost your S, lets say you drive an average of 600miles/wk
Prius MPG city/hwy mix: 50
S MPG city/hwy mix:26
600/50 = 12Ga/wk
600/26=23.08Ga/wk
Typical Price for 93 oct 1 month ago:$3.89
Typical Price for 89 oct 1 month ago:$3.59
Prius gas cost:$43.08
S Cost:$89.78
$5000/($89.78-$43.08) = 107.06 (weeks to break even)
107.06/52 = 2.05 yrs to break even. <----Thats a long time to be driving a prius maybe you should keep the S and sell the prius
and 60mpg?

i would but then you also have to think about the following:
Insurance is going to drop from $780 every 6 months to $425 every 6 moths
Oil changes are going to drop
Tire prices are going to drop
No more saving money for mods (MAJOR REDUCTION IN SPENT MONEY A MONTH)
The overall benefit is enormous. Like I said during school I need something cheaper to maintain and to drive. With the extra savings all around the car will pay for the extra $5000 in no time.
Also about the 60mpg, I personally know people that get 55 HWY and 60-70 city in the thing. The city miles are going to be a lot higher because the car will switch to the electric engine whenever you drop below a certain speed. THEN then is a chip you can get that will allow the car to run more on electric and less on the gas engine and with the aid of another few batteries one car get upwards of 100 mpg...
Im not going to touch this car, i will keep it probably until the warranty runs out then by that time I will be out of school and I can sell it and get another sports car.
