Does this sound like seized calipers?
This is sort of a continuation from my previous post with the rubberish burning smell...so today at the mechanic we discovered that the burning smell was actually coming from the passenger front brakes. they were extremely hot compared to the left and the pass. front wheel always got caked with brake dust faster than the drivers side. however, the brake burning smell started randomly a few days ago after the car sitting for a week.
When I was driving back, I noticed that the car would slow down on its own slightly faster than it should even in neutral, and even when i let go of the brakes at certain slight ramps the car doesn't roll back/front. there's no noise coming from the brakes when i'm driving though. does this sound like a seized caliper? what's the best solution to this problem, and if i do have to buy a new caliper (maybe remanufactured) how much do they usually run for ap2? thanks.

Feeling the caliper seems... painful. Check your wheels after a long drive is one hotter than the other?
When I had a stuck caliper there wasn't any noise either. Just 1 wheel getting way hotter than the other 3. I fixed it by bleeding the brake lines, air got into the caliper when I was fiddling around with it earlier. After the bleed everything went back to normal.
It wouldn't be a bad idea to check the rubber seals on the caliper, if they're still good you should be ok, maybe change the pads and machine the rotors.
Also your screen name is dangerously close to mine lol but mine was a S13

thanks guys...yea the suspect caliper gets hotter than any other 3. so i guess the best thing to try is to bleed the lines first? if that doesn't work i guess i have to get a reman. caliper...does anyone know how much that costs anyway?
also can a caliper just get seized randomly? i mean i always had more brake dust from the suspected caliper more than the other but now i could smell it burning so i guess it's progressively getting worse? would bleeding take care of that?

Some guy on the forum was selling a full set of AP2 calipers for 150. Bleeding will only help if an air bubble is causing the issues. You could also try spreading the calipers like if you were changing the pads.

^thanks, nice sn to you too btw, lol.
how can i tell if bleeding will solve the problem? i don't really have tools so i can't really try much...i guess i'll have to go to a mechanic worst comes to worst.
