Does the SC require a timer?
I was wondering if the Comptech or Vortec Superchargers require a timer (similar to a turbo timer)?

They don't need a turbo timer per se, but its always a good idea to have all the oil drain from the charger and cool down a bit before shutting down the vehicle. As a result, you can either add a timer, or simply let the car idle for 20-30 seconds before shutting it down, especially after a hard run.

I don't know of, and haven't heard of, anyone that has one. I never VTEC in my driveway, so by the time I turn the engine off it's been running at near idle for a couple of minutes.

I have APEXi Auto timer and it is a really neat stuff. Discreetly small and not only works as turbo timer but also works as air/fuel ratio meter.
1Randyc has that also on his s/c car and he seems to love it.
It enables him to keep his eye on a/f ratio in general if he does something radical with his s/c like putting in a 3.00 pulley.
