Does p0410 make the car go into limp mode?
Hey guys,
So I just bought an ap2 and shortly after, the p0410 (secondary air pump malfunction) code came on the car (after I bought it). I thought it was an expensive fix, but I found the guy on here selling the kit to get rid of the p0410 cel so I was lucky it wasn't anything major. I am going to buy the kit this week sometime.
My question is, someone told me that when the check engine light comes on, it puts the car into limp mode. Even though it's nothing major, does the p0410 (only code) put the car into limp mode? Or does it run fine/normal, but just the cel is on.
Thanks,
Any help is much appreciated.

Can be a short, fuse, relay or an ECM depending upon what happens when you run the OEM test.
You can reset the code for $5 if you have an Android phone (Torque Pro App) and a bluetooth OBDII adapter.
Also, you might want to invest in a factory service manual, they are well worth the money if you intend to keep your s2000.
