Does my S2000 Have the dreaded "CLUTCH BUZZ"
Hey guys, I got a used S2000 for a really good price because of the noise the transmission was making- knowing that I may need to get this fixed if its serious.
But after some research it appears the noise I am experiencing is "normal"
so please help me pinpoint if its a normal clutch buzz
in all gears basically ( cant remember if 1 does it- I have not tried )
engauging is fine, shifting is fine but if I let off the gas at basically any RPM my car sounds like an 18 wheeler using engine breaks its a loud BURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR noise that obviously as the rpms are higher, the BURRR is faster and lounder and quiets down as the rpms go down
if I put in the clutch it goes away, it only happens in gear on decel when my foot is not giving any gas ( load ) to the engine and trasmission.
Does anyone have a sound clip of this buzz? so I can cross reference?
and is there ANY WAY at all to fix this on my 00 ap1? or do I just have to live with it/
thanks !!!

My car had the infamous "clutch problem" that is/was covered under warranty. Once the new clutch was put in, there's never been a problem since and that was several years ago.
Your problem, though, doesn't sound the same. Mine was like a rattling that occurred around 2700 rpm. At any other level there was no sound. I also noticed that with the hardtop on there was a booming effect, also around 2700 rpm.
