Does Japan still have the option of getting either the F20 or the F22 in their S2000? I need a definite answer on this; there is a guy over on another board giving me crap about this. I need some hard evidence.

Thanks

It is my understanding the ONLY country to get the 2.2L is the US. Everyone else is still sporting the F20C. I don't think others have the option of choosing which engine they want. Pretty cut and dry.

I need proof though, I want something concrete that I can show this guy. He needs to be put in his place.

Try babelfish on this:
http://www.honda.co.jp/auto-lineup/s2000/m...nism/index.html

It says 2.0L in there.

BWWAAHHAHAHAHA!!!

Either you are:
1) Joking
or
2) Very close-minded

That statement is just too ridiculous to take seriously. That's like a Christian saying, "If you don't believe in my God, you're going to Hell." I had an ex-girlfriend like that. Key word: ex-girlfriend. I can't stand closed-minded people. Just because she believes doesn't make it true.

BTW... I love my 2.0L and have no desire to change to the 2.2L. But that doesn't meant that I think that people who drive 2.2L S2000s are any less of a driver than myself.

Japan doesn't get the 2.2L because there is a higher tax on cars with engines bigger then 2.0L in Japan.
