If you have a buddy with a welder have him weld a piece of bar stock to the side of a socket. It's what I did.

I bought the amazon like tool online, probably through amazon...it works great and my adjustment is still great after 1./5 years.

I had to ghetto-fab one of those tools from a deep well socket. I grinded down 2 sides flat so that I could fit a wrench on it. It worked great!..but now I need a new 10mm deep well...the most common socket used haha
That's a good idea grkboy! 10mm deep sockets are relatively cheap, I wouldn't mind sacrificing one for a valve adjustment tool.

I fail to see how this is an improvement over a box end wrench.

If you have ever done a valve adjustment on this engine you would understand. I did my last valve adjustment with a box end wrench and it was a royal PITA.

I read the guy's post. He said that it's better. I don't understand why. You reiterating that it's better without an explanation leaves me in the same position as before, still not understanding.

If you think that I wasn't aware that I could pull my valve cover and try it myself, you were mistaken. I know that I could do that, but it seems somewhat inconvenient.
