Does clutch buzz make the clutch heavier?
I've been driving an 00' as a daily driver for nearly 8 months now, and for the past month or so I've been noticing my clutch getting increasingly heavy. Actually, I'm not sure if it got any heavier but I'm starting to get knee pain. I've adjusted my seat position several times and have changed the clutch fluid but my clutch hasn't seemed to get any softer.
I was wondering if the fact that my car has clutch buzz has made my clutch heavier. Would replacing the clutch make my clutch softer? I also read some threads on how the master and slave cylinders cause the clutch to stick or feel weird, but it does neither of those, it is really heavy/stiff. Thanks for your help.

Clutch disc maybe starting to wear down. Thinner friction surface changes the angle and mechanical advantage of the pressure plate fingers.

I have not experienced this. Recently changed my 00 pressure plate. The new pressure plate is lighter compared to original ap1 pp FYI. What it could be is lack of grease would be my guess in any of the various fiction points, likely the ball on the slave and/or spline

Mine buzzes like crazy and the pedal is quite stiff. Master cyl and slave are newish. My car shows signs of the trans being removed before I got it, so I just assumed some moron put in a "race clutch". Next spring I'm getting it replaced.
