Default does bad knock sensor induce misfire code?

i was wondering if a faulty knock sensor code will also throw some misfire code like p0301/302 etc,

because car IDLES perfect, drives perfect, starts perfect, no sign of misfire,

I would assume that possibly, if the knock sensor is defective that it could allow the engine to knock enough to cause a misfire code to be generated -- especially on that 91 octane piss water you guys burn in Cali.

Those suckers are fragile and expensive. They take a big socket and are a little bit of a PITA to replace.

x2. honda knock sensors are essentually VERY sensitive microphones. i had one go out on the accord and since i had a wideband in the car, never replaced it. it actually crapped out on the track after launching so i think the shock broke it.
