does the airbag still deploy if the airbag light is on?
i run a racing seat, the factory seat is unplugged. will the airbag still deploy?

we got this bypass of making the system think there's an airbag in place when there isn't. same principle should be able to be applied to the seat sensor... the question is what signal is given and down which lead on the connector
after that we have to use this

rigging the stock sensor and keeping the stock seat railing somehow... but this is rather inelegant... unless you can actually separate the sensor from the rails and do everything in a neat package.
it turns out that the above mentioned poster has sort of the wrong idea of how the sensor in the rail works...

this thread talks about how the sensor works (or at least another theory) and as long as you have it plugged in, the airbag will work full strength? so maybe at least that's an option and the magnetic portion can maybe be rigged somehow? thoughts?
