NO, once the light comes on that means the whole system is disabled...However, you never know it might just deploy who knows....if your lucky

in that case is there a bypass to trick the wires into thinking something is connected?

http://www.honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=2398113

we got this bypass of making the system think there's an airbag in place when there isn't. same principle should be able to be applied to the seat sensor... the question is what signal is given and down which lead on the connector

after that we have to use this

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.ph...c=525191&st=0&

to reset the light

someone thought about this method

http://s2000.com/forums/all-other-honda-s2...tory-seats.html

rigging the stock sensor and keeping the stock seat railing somehow... but this is rather inelegant... unless you can actually separate the sensor from the rails and do everything in a neat package.

it turns out that the above mentioned poster has sort of the wrong idea of how the sensor in the rail works...

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showt...&#entry10545419

this thread talks about how the sensor works (or at least another theory) and as long as you have it plugged in, the airbag will work full strength? so maybe at least that's an option and the magnetic portion can maybe be rigged somehow? thoughts?
