Default Do poly diff mounts cause diff to go bad?

Ok guys, I have driven my car under WOT many times with my 500 hp tune. I never had an issue, and have been driving like this for 1.5 years. Fast forward to last weekend, and I decided to install poly diff mounts since my oem ones are beginning to crack. I never ever launch my car, I tend to let my car pick up speed before I punch it. I also never run any super sticky rubber to prevent shock to my drive train under hard acceleration. Anyways, after i installed my poly diff mounts, I was just driving around to get a feel for it. Keep in mind i'm on my 400 hp tune. I decided to WOT it, and than I started to hear a whinning sound on deceleration out of gear. The sound is beginning to get worst and one of my friends s2k diff went bad after hearing the same sound. Is it me, or does the flex from the stock diff mounts act like a fail safe, and me switching it out caused my diff to go out?

The diff on my AP2 has whined since I bought the car at 20k miles. It got worse when I installed Hasport 88a diff mounts because the polyurethane grounds all of that sound and vibration into the car.

Thanks, that makes me feel slightly better.I think I'm going to change the diff fluid this weekend anyways just to be sure.
