Default Do I need to smack my MAP sensor?

5100 miles on my 03...I'm running a AEM CAI and Spugen dual exhaust. I get some hesitation-missing thing going on around 6-7000 rpm and not all the time either...Any Ideas?
Thanks,
morgan

Smack the fvcker. Sounds like the typical map problem.

How "vigorously" does one smack?

10lb sledge should do it.

ha! not!

just a hefty wack, but not so hard you break it .

there's no way to really give a "smack" rating.

It does sound like the right fix for your problem. I have just removed it and given it a rap with the screwdriver, but not so hard as to break it. I don't know if the technique is effective while it is still screwed down. Let us know how it goes.

I've never unscrewed it to smack it. Just hit it from the top when it's still attached to the TB.
