Might not be the clutch. Could be CMC, fluid, etc...

I have 126K on my original clutch. Plenty of auto-x and track events and still holds strong.

^ well my fluid is full, and I check it frequently. What exactly would the symptoms be if I had a bad CMC?

Act heavy duty plate with oem disc.
I have this combo and love it, but I agree with JDMQuip on checking everything else first.

My car was doing this, and it turned out to be a slightly leaky clutch master cylinder.

Hmm well i'll look into that first. I would hate to tear the car apart and replace the whole clutch when it doesnt need it yet. Then still have to replace the clutch master cylinder.

Topping off the fluid is one thing; have you ever changed it out? Spec is to flush it every three years, and your car is eight years old now - even though its full it could have absorbed enough water to boil and become ineffective when hot.

Keep in mind, 95% of s2k clutch master cylinders leak. Chaging the master would be pointless.

I find changing the fluid every 5k miles or so is extremely beneficial. You don't even need to bleed it. Just suck out the res, clean it out with paper towels, and fill it back up.

The leak will stop, and the car will shift better. This has proven on hundreds of s2ks over the years.

I think the last time I actually changed it was about a year and a half ago, so ill go ahead and try that first. Thanks Saki GT and Billman.
