Default Do have to bleed the brakes

I am changing my rotors and I can get the caliper off by compressing the piston, but when I put the caliper back on with the new rotors, will I need to bleed the brakes? I shouldn't have to since I didn't open the system right? I mean no air got in, so why would I need to bleed?
Thanks

You are correct you do not have to bleed the system because as you stated you did not open it up.
