DIY Replacing Window Regulator Cable
#11
s2000 window regulator
its mendozasautoglass.com in anaheim. $50 if you go pick it up. same seller as maganaheim on ebay. ($60 + tax). search s2000 regulator on ebay. IF your cable snapped while your window was in the down position (like mine), i'm pretty certain you only need to fashion/make the longer cable(using nozzle, sheath, little white plastic doodad, and spring from your broken cable). 32 1/2" exactly. that's what i would do if this happens to me again. it Might be an easier fix with the kit (because of the white plastic joiner center piece they include) but i personally used only the longer cable out of the kit. same as resnick. we struggled a little but got it done question is: can you make a 32 1/2" cable with really good end stops ?
