ok i think i have the same problem. i hear a rattling sound inside my cat and im throwing a secondary o2 sensor code. it sounds like a marble is in my cat and rattles at low rpms. i am going to pull the o2 sensor tonite and see if it is beat up like yours. if it is, time to go to honda and have it warrantied.

The rattling inside the cat could be the head of the 2' O2 sensor or....

The rattle could be the honeycomb of the Cat that broke off and decapitated the O2 sensor.

Honda will warranty the Cat, but unless you're within the 3yr 36k OEM warranty, they won't do anything to pay for the O2 sensor.

And you do know you replied to a 3 yr old post, right?

usually if your o2 is banged up like that it is from the cat over heating and having the insides break loose contacting the o2 sensor.
