It takes about 20 minutes max to change your oil. Better than sitting around a dealership for hours. Also consider that oil changes usually are assigned to the least qualified tech. For $25, they are probably using the cheapest oil as well.

88 bucks for oil change. 60 bucks for my redline ful synth oil. 20 bucks (14 with discount) for my oil filter.

Its easier to get the oil change bolt from the TOP of the engine...if your car is dropped and you cant get a jack under there. its very possible and doable. just a fyi!

did you guys know that jiffy lube can do your oil change in 8 minutes? lol talk about service.. haha

maybe u know how much is 5 quarts in liters?
and just to ba sure the best oil is 5w30 ?

great guide! It took me a while to do this because i couldnt find the drain bolt, but after viewing this wonderful guide, it was a cinch!

do i have to use a torque wrench for the drain and fill plug?

You don't have to but if you don't have a good feel for proper tightening it's recommended (don't under or over tighten). Good luck getting a torque wrench on the fill cap.

turn the dial at the bottom to the number you want. make sure you are reading ft pounds. the bottom handle twists.

most of them arent reversible so you just hand tighten the bolt and then use the torque wrench to finish it off. the wrench will automatically click when the torque specis met and will not go any tighter, tada
