DIY high-beam bulb replacement

Default DIY high-beam bulb replacement

I'm switching my bulbs to yellows, and i got the connectors off, but how in the F do you get the bulbs out? Pliers?

its fun there is a little metal hook like thing that holds them in that you have to press in, down, and pull...its hard to explain...i just took mine out when i did my hid upgrade to the h/b

kinda like the wire retainers for the HID bulbs? guess i'll look when the cars not in the shade, ahah. thanks!

[threadjack] did you splice any wires or did you make a plug n play connector.

...ive thought about doing this, but the thought of splicing my headlight harness makes me cringe

with my kit the wires cam spaded already and fit in the stock connector and i just electrical taped over the connector and wires just in case i wanted to go back to stock and it would still be unmodified

hah yea just get a flashlight and it shouldnt be too hard.

btw yellow high beams look awesome. i had it done to my dc5 and loved it!

i think im gonna do the same thing, just needa find some quality h1's that dont cost an arm and a leg like the PIAAs

i love my hid yellow high beams. i blinded a buddy of mine the other night though ridin down some back roads i had them on when he passed me on the wrong side of the road and bout ran off the road cause he couldnt see...lol

They're pretty good-i have them in my Acura CL-S and look badass at night.

I still cant get those damn bulbs out! All I can feel is a rubbery cover around the 2 prongs....WTF

I love the Yellow High beams I put on mine... mine were just replacement bulbs... the little wire hook is a pain but if you mess with it enough you'll get it
