I had my short block replaced a while back at a Honda dealership and the car never had the same character as before. The dealer had the valves adjusted twice by two different supposed ase certified master mechanics and it was still not right( Lots of extra torque and power down low and lacking peak H.P.) I went to a regular non honda mechanic who mostly does mustangs to adjust my valves. He adjusted them to spec and my car was back to normal and even felt stronger than ever.
It wouldn't hurt to get the valves checked again by a third party.
This is my dyno plot to compare yours to.

If the dyno "thinks" the cars gearing is higher than it actually is, wouldn't that tend to artificially raise the measured torque and hp numbers? I'm thinking the lower gearing would allow the engine more leverage to spin the wheels relative to what the dyno "thinks" it should, assuming a higher gearing.
Am I wrong on this?
Just wondering......

When my valves were out of whack and very loose done by Honda the car was stronger than usual down low with nothing up high as you can see from the dyno. I did not get the car re-dynoed after my valve adjustment because it seemed back to normal and even stronger than ever plus dynos aren't cheap. The bad valve job from Honda affected my peak H.P. , is this Tenblade's problem. . . . .? Who knows?
