The change that was stated for the transmission (75W85 GL-4) is harder to know since the numbers quoted are probably the sheer rating and may not indicate the flow rate.. if it shifts ok it probably will be ok as well.

You guys can post that damn thing as many times as you like.. it is only because the factory recommendation of 90W does not jive with the lubes available in the marketplace in the US that AHM scrambled and said.. oh yeah, 75-90, 80-90, is close enough.. and it is (so is the 85-140).
GL6 was a spec that has been dropped and is covered by GL5 now. There are still a few custom lubricants that are blended to the GL6 spec and they tend to be expensive and slippery EP lubes. I don't think there is any real benefit for us.
