My 23 didn't round the bolt, it's only 33lbs to tighten it up.

Got mine at autozone, there was no issue finding a 6 point 24mm. Look elsewhere if you're concerned.

Quick question.

I just did the transmission fluid change.

Can I reuse the oil pump for the differential fluid change ?

There is obviously a bit of the tranny fluid left in the pump but would this affect anything ?

I guess I could do a few pumps with diff fluid since the diff takes less than a quart so I would still have enough left to fill in the differential.

i was told to use syncromesh when i replace my diff fluid, is this right or do i use stuff from honda??

No, don't use syncromesh. Honda doesn't have a diff fluid for the S2000. Mobil 1 and Amsoil are popular diff fluid brands.

And yes you can reuse the pump, but like you said, just pump a bit of the diff fluid through it to clean it up.

The challenge is to find a 23mm socket that will fit together with the torque wrench between the bar and the diff. I might just have to use a regular 23mm wrench. OSH has them for $15.

Where did you guys get your torque wrench/socket combination from ?

I got a 23mm socket from Kragen but it doesn't fit together with the torque wrench so I have to either find a lower profile combination or use a regular wrench and torque by hand.

Suggestions ?
