ok, i guess....if you cant deal with pumping a little oil maybe you shouldnt be doing this work.

i guess i dont really care.

It's not about making the pumping easier, yo. The easiest way is to use as large a hose as you can fit in the fill hole - empty the quart in 5 mins tops. However, warming the oil would allow it to better flush out the grit (warm oil flows better...)

not it wont wash out the grit any better...the grit is high in the casing and gears right now. you need more volume. but eitherway. if it comes out it comes out/

flush and run.....

random rocks/sand get crushed and exploaded into fine powder fairly easily.... little bits of steel however are another story, draing plug will get those.

Stilll no matter how positive you look at this situation bearings nor gears appreciate this.
