agreed to an extent. honda improved on the f20 on the k-series by the addition of VTC, which plays a huge part in how the k-series motors make power.

to answer your question, 300whp has already been attained on a street driven k20/k24 hybrid. there is so much potential in these motors its ridiculous.

Well me owning a 2002 RSX S, i can say it was a damn fast car with bolts on i had. Put in Injen CAI, hondata ECU and IMG, Greddy SP2 Exhaust and never had a chance to go with the headers. But just with those 3 components the power difference was huge. Esp the ECU. After the total loss of my RSX, i got this car and i could not be happier. Yea i read here that mods dont really do much for this car, btu its prob as still faster than the car i had without mods and the suspension and handling on this car is what just did it for me, stiff as a C@&#!!
I did put in a tanabae medalion and K&N FIPK on this S, but it was mostly for sound

I wish this were true but no. I can't remember which factory engine it is that has the highest power-to-liter/displacement, but the S2000 does have a more efficent engine than the F430. S2k=122.5 hp/liter, F430=114.43 hp/liter. Atleast in base trim. Eat that ferrari!!!

ive been around a few different k-series builds, both NA and FI.

forced induction-wise, i only made about 300whp in my old car but there are plenty of guys pushing 550whp on 100% stock k20's and k24's.

okay, do this stock vs stock who produces more whp? Settled; theres always gonna be someone saying one thing and another person saying the opposite I think their both great motors but which one produces more hp per liter n/a than any other motor=)

There's potential in K's and F's. Both have made 300+ whp all motor. Cranks are also interchangeable allowing for many displacement options.
honestly, id love to see a k-series in the s2k while maintaining the rwd platform. that would be full of so much win.

Not exactly an improvement IMO. It's makes the motor more efficient and gives it nicer bottom end. The F was designed to be as efficient as possible in vtec. Hence no VTC even on late model F series motors. More weight on the internals of the motor make a motor less efficient where it really counts, in VTEC.
not to discount the s2k because it really is a very fun car to drive, but my old k-series accord would put a hurting against my s2k if i ran them head to head. while in comparison, the accord handled like a u-haul truck compared to the s2k, it was worlds faster.
