diff oil?
I have been reading up on the honda mech' mistakes when they put in the wrong rear diff oil. I called them this morning and asked whaty kind they put in mine ans they said 75 90 gear oil? I asked who it was made by and if it was the same oil they put into the CRV's, and they said it was made by petro can for them, and not it was not. my question is, is this the proper rear diff oil ?
THank you very much

For the kind of cost involved,I would not take a chance.
All you need is 2 bottles ,of 1 liter of 75W90 gear oil,and it has to meet or exceed GL-5.
A lot of people use Mobil 1 gear oil, wich you can find at most Crappy Tire, for around $8.00.
I use Redline 75W90,very good too.

Go talk to them and make sure you get to see it and get it docuemented. That way if it is wrong and has any problems you have documented proof that the dealer screwed up.
