Diff nightmare ?

Someone needs to make a conversion kit for a 240 diff.... or any other strong diff for that matter. Im suprised none of the major aftermarket parts makers havent done this yet, they would prolly be getting alot of business.

Ok...so when I get a diff like the one on ebay, what is needed to install it ? and what aftermarket parts should I install in the unit itself.I basically need something that can hold the power (450-550 rwhp) as well as something that wont give me any problems with running my 19x10.5 rears. (keep in mind my car is NEVER going to the track or getting launched off first gear) thnks

Hi Guys,
We are currently making a kit to simply bolt on, will you use Nissan R33 GTST or S13, S14, I think they are all the same. As we speak, my car is stripped of its diff, which is a prototype, I have a Nissan R33 GTST, custom Axles, Tailshaft, and mounts.
Hopefully the kit will be ready in aprox 4 weeks, it will simply bolt straight in, with no mods required.
Also I have only 400hp @ the wheels, and I have broken 3, 2nd gears.
I currently have a custom S2000 gearbox from www.ppgearbox.com.au
Also I have tested it at the track and drag race it.
I will post a vid when I get my car back
Regards

That is great news
I have read that not all nissan diffs use the same bolt pattern on the flanges to the drive shafts.
Can you please elaborate on what will be included in the kit.

The kit will include the following
Nissan Diff (standard 4.1) or any ratio you like at an extra cost.
Front and rear aluminum brackets. I recommend that you use Mugen Diff Mounts. or anything stronger than standard mounts.
Tailshaft.
Axles including CV's that could handle 500hp
Cheers
