Default Diff need to be warmed before working properly?

I just got an 03 S2k....it had 1000 miles when I got it. Love the car. I put another 500 on it before I decided to redline it just because I wanted to get used to how it behaved as a daily driver before giving it a hard run through the gears.

Finally the day came last week. WOW. fun! Anyhoo: when shifting really fast during high RPM runs (yes I do lift my foot off the throttle) the car seems like the clutch slips (or is it the LSD?) the first couple of times I shift....and then after doing it a couple of times, its rock solid and just goes. Its almost as if the differential fluid in the rear has to get heated up and then it puts all the power down. I have tested the clutch for slippage by going at a constant speed and pressing the brake to see if I can get RPMs to rise as the car decelerates: NOPE. Clutch seems solid (and it should for low miles). It's hard to describe but here is my attempt: (1st)wwwaaaaahhh...(2nd)bwaaaaa-----aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh
after a few tries: (1st)wwwaaaaahhh...(2nd)bwaaaahhhhh as it should be.
