Default Diff Limits for AP1

Is it worth the extra money to get an ap2 or is the ap1 diff ok for turbo???? What is the torque limit for the diff??? Is the diff just a question mark of when it will break??? Any help is appreciated!!!

Buying an s2k soon and would like to avoid issues because it will be turbo shortly after purchasing!!!!

AP2 has a different casing and is slightly stronger in certain areas. You abuse both and you'll break both. I've had FI for 5 years, and my AP1 diff is fine. I don't abuse it, though.

The AP2 diff isn't strong enough to the point where I'd ditch an AP1 diff for AP2. The 'right' way (AP1 or AP2) is to go and have your diff built with a new pinion sleeve and beefed up endcaps.
