Default diff fluid

hi...i just bought some diff fluid VTM-4 from Honda last week and the guy told me that is the right one for the s2000....but after reading a few post....i know that they are not for the s2000. fortunately i just changed for one day and only drove 8 miles on it. today i went back to honda and ask them to give me the CL5, but they don't have any and sent me to another auto store to pick the fluid up. now i am wondering are these the right differential fluid for the s2000??

generally you'd want 75W-90 GL-5. That 80W-90 GL-5 doesn't look to be far off.

that is the wrong fluid! get it outta there asap!! you want a GL-5 fluid. i prefer LE607. if you want something thats easy to find(off the shelf), i'd go with mobil 75w90. make sure you let the person at honda know they suck at thier job.

I wouldn't move the car with the VTM4 in it at all.

The stuff you have pictured is ok and will surly work better than VTM4.

wrong, Honda spec's a straight 90 weight oil. The 80w90 that the OP has will work just fine so long as it's GL5 (which it is).
