30'000+ miles, and over 2000 clutch dumps on LE607. if anyone can top that do chime in. LE607 is the best fluid i have come acrossed. it looked like new when i drained it last week. with 30k miles on it. laters dave

The S2000s limited slip dif is a torsen, not a clutch type.

I have been using LE-607 here in California (warm) and seems to work very well.

two thousand clutch dumps?

You dump your clutch on average 3+ times a day?

I know LE-607 is as good as it gets (and I'd use it if I didn't drive my S2000 in winter), but damn, I can not imagine an S2000 differential being able to withstand that kind of blatant abuse.

Not trying to pick a fight, just shocked if what you're saying is true.

I use LE-607 90W fluid. The OEM fluid that came in the diff is 90W, so I'm continuing to use 90W. I don't see a problem using a good 75W90, but since I can get LE locally, I went that route.
Where do you find it locally? I've looked around in South Florida with no luck. Was planning on ordering it online from one of the sponsors, but would love to get it locally if possible.

I'm running Mobil 1 75w90 this winter. No complaints. In the spring I'm going to put in the LE-607 I picked up to give it a try, and check current oil for wear particles.

I had over 1000 clutch dumps on EACH S2000 I owned, and never had a problem. I ran mostly the OEM oil that came in the diff from the factory for the majority of those. currently I'm using Mobil 1.
