Im cOnfused, went to change the axel, i spun the drive shaft with my hand and the boot un twised. Now while the car is in the air i have it running in first gear and both drive shafts are spining and its not making that noise anymore WTF...?

The spider inside that twisted boot is broken. It will take quite a bit of force to get it to spread open and allow the shaft to slip.
In other words, it will only slip if the wheels are on the ground.

this thread was very useful.i just had the same thing happen to my car.i didnt think it could be the rear/axel since i had the car towed/pulled and while steering it home the rear didnt make any noise.the boot for the cv joint on the left side is indeed twisted.
