Diagnosing a clutch/ transmission issue
Can anyone help diagnose these symptoms:
1.) No classical clutch "slip" of any noticeable degree
2.) When the clutch is released and the transmission is not in gear, the car wants to roll, ever-so-slightly, and quits doing this when the clutch is re-engaged.
3.) The engine rpm's drop slightly when this occurs.
The car is driven aggressively during many DE events with more planned in the immediate future. The symptoms are more prevalent during cold temperatures. I'm using Red Line transmission fluid and am interested in what actually needs replacing, if any, and what higher performance upgrades are available and average costs for installation for my OEM tranny parts with 30K miles.
2 or 3 cents appreciated.
