Mine smelles like burning gas but does not smoke until I hit Vtec. I have a Invidia on my 03' AP1. I have had it for about a month and I guess I got used to it because I do not notice it as much now (Besides the blackness around my chrome tips)

Hahaha....definitely not as bad as a burning clutch. I'd recognize that smell instantly.

Whoever says it smells like rotten eggs is an idiot. It doesn't smell anything like a fart, it smells like a gasoline station

How prevalent are flames coming out the exhaust? Often, not so often, never?

So after 150 miles, everything smells "normal". My test pipe just smells like gas now. No more rubber burning smell. It must have been all the PB blaster burning off.

And for future test pipe buyers, yes, the smell is strong. I'm hoping that I'm not causing cancer. 2 seconds in a garage or at a stoplight and the smell's all in the car if you're top-down.
